Home & Away: the photographic journey of Vittorio Moro
Vittorio Moro was born on 19 August 1991 into a historic family of Venetian industrialists, on the very same day the USSR dissolved.

According to family legend, my paternal grandfather saw this coincidence as a sign of destiny: the end of what he called a “dark era” and the beginning of a new generation projected towards the future.

I cannot say whether my birth really carried such meaning, but it did mark a turning point: I was probably the first in my family to seek affirmation beyond the domestic sphere, choosing a creative path in design and analogue photography instead of a steady career in the family dairy business.

This choice led me to live in vibrant cities such as Venice, Milan, Seoul, Berlin and now Paris — always with the goal of absorbing the best of every culture I encountered, while reflecting on the similarities that connect us.
My passion for sports photography was born out of a simple belief: the stadium is the most authentic place to recognise the deep roots of a community.

Today, at full creative maturity, I have chosen to transform this passion into a true profession, exploring not only the sporting roots of a team but also its cultural core — that which binds a supporter to a club for decades, builds friendships, breaks down barriers and strengthens communities.
